Croatian Australian Bocce and Handball Players Endorse Croatian World Games Australian Qualifying Tournaments

International Bocce player and 2006 Croatian World Games triples silver medallist, Ivan Dani Olic, would like to encourage Australian Bocce players of Croatian background, both men and women, to consider registering for the forthcoming Croatian World Games Australian Qualifying Tournament for Bocce, to be held in Adelaide on the weekend of 31st October – 1st November 2009.

Together with another Croatian Australian Bocce player, Bepo Moras, Dani will again be representing Australia at the forthcoming World Bocce Championships in Macon, France.

Australia is entitled up to five men and five women Bocce players for the Croatian World Games in Zadar 2010, so now is the time to register for selection at the Adelaide Qualifying Tournament.

Australian Handball International, Dragan Jerkov, similarly encourages Croatian Australian Handball players, both men and women, to consider registering for the Croatian World Games Australian Handball Qualifying Tournament, to be held in Adelaide, also on the weekend of 31st October – 1st November 2009.

Dragan was part of the Australian Handball Squad, that went to Croatia earlier this year to compete at the World Handball Championships. Each Handball team is allowed a maximum of twelve players to represent Australia at the 2010 Croatian World Games.

Both Dani and Dragan also encourage other Croatian Australian players to consider registering for any of the other sporting disciplines to be played at the Croatian World Games, for selection consideration at the Adelaide qualifying tournaments
