URGENT HUMANITARIAN APPEAL FOR YOUNG MARIJA ANTOLOVIC -

Born in Bosnia on November 1, 1992 with the “Nager Syndrome” and having had three unsuccessful operations in Croatia and Austria respectively, Marija is having constant and continuing pain. At the time of writing this appeal (October 2003) her life threatening condition has deteriorated to that extent that she is not even able to open her mouth to eat and the only way for her to take food is in a liquid form.

World-renowned surgeon Dr. David David from Adelaide who has successfully operated on many similar cases had agreed to undertake this operation and hopefully give Marija another chance in life and a better future.

Dr.David estimates that the costs of having this operation would be in the vicinity of $30,000.
With the help and approval of The Australian Cranio Maxillo Facial Foundation a Trust Account had been set up for donations to help Marija and her parents come to Adelaide for this operation.
