Centre Information:

The Centre has been operating for 14 years and began in 1988 with only volunteers.
It has two major programmes funded through state and local government. They are:

DIMA, the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs Community Settlement Scheme for Croatians and Bosnians

HACC, the second programme, provides assistance for the frail, aged and younger people with disabilities for people
from mid-European communities through the Home and Community Care Programmes pf the Commonwealth and ACT Governments

Over the last 12 months the number of clients serviced by the DIMA worker are a total of 502 females and 377 males while the total number
of clients serviced by the HACC worker included 44 clients.

There are currently 2 HACC workers both fluent in Croatian and English and 1 DIMA worker fluent in Croatian and English

Services Provided:

CCWC provide include assistance in immigration matters, emergency housing, financial support, seeking and finding
employment, visa status, permanent and suitable housing, providing care, support and assistance for the sick disabled and elderly.
