Croatian World Games “Team Australia” March Update

Croatian World Games organizers in Australia have extended the deadline for player registrations until Friday 19th March 2010. This is your opportunity to represent Australia at the forthcoming Croatian World Games, to be held in Zadar, Croatia from 18th to the 23rd July this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, a number of player withdrawals have occurred providing spaces for new players to be part of “Team Australia.”

New players are required to top up teams in the following sporting disciplines, swimming (men & women), handball (men), soccer (men, women, veterans), table tennis (men), tennis (men & men veterans), beach volleyball (men, women), bocce (women). All sports are open to players ages 16 to 35, except for veterans & bocce.

Feedback from some of the Australian players who participated in inaugural 2006 Croatian World Games, indicated that the experience was the best time of their lives.

The second Croatian World Games will be held in Zadar, from July 18th - July 23rd 2010. The inaugural Games were also held in Zadar in 2006, and were a great success.
