new players to the club for 2007. Fairmont
Homes summer series Raiders had their
first hit out for 2007 against a very strong Campbelltown side. Raiders,
who had only been training for just over a week went down by 5 goals to
nil. Senior coach Carl Maynard used several of the young players who
despite the score line performed admirably. Maynard said, “I
believe the younger players were taught a harsh lesson, it seemed as
though they got punished for every mistake they made. This game was a
valuable learning experience for them and I am sure they will adapt
quickly to the Super League. |
